Cross Fixed Table

Since graduating from London’s Kingston Polytechnic in 1979, Matthew Hilton has built a following for his innovative, gorgeously crafted furniture, with pieces held in the permanent collections of London’s Geffrye and Victoria & Albert Museums, among others. His Cross Table (2005) features a splayed-leg base, which maximizes user legroom while providing impressive stability. The fixed (meaning non-expanding) tabletop is finished with a solid wood chamfered edge for comfort and durability.

This unit is manufactured oak or walnut depending on the finish.

Skilled craftsmen manufacture this product and there is variety between each unit. This is because wood is a natural product, with natural colour and grain variations.

Natural timber is affected by sunlight; this can cause the wood colour to darken. For this reason (especially if placed in direct sunlight) it is recommended that placing objects in the same position for long periods of time is avoided. This potential colour adjustment becomes less relevant as the product ages.

It is recommended that no abrasive cleaners or solvents are used to clean the unit. Please only use proprietary furniture polishes or alternatively, warm water with a diluted mild detergent.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, except for made-to-order items. Made to order items are final sale, and orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

To initiate a return, email customercase@thatcooliving.com for authorization. A 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Returned items must be in their original condition, unassembled if applicable, and in the original packaging.

For damage claims, report within 2 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging before opening, pictures of the damage, and a copy of the signed Bill of Lading (BOL) highlighting the damages.
