Ikebana Vase

Giving life to flowers is the exact translation of Ikebana. Ikebana was introduced in Japan in the 6th century. An Ikebana flower arrangement should contain aesthetic elements or a triangular structure that symbolizes heaven, earth, and the humanity existing in harmony.

The Vase is made of solid brass and its shape is inspired by Japanese ceramics techniques giving each angle life when seen from a new perspective.

Brass is a living material and will naturally develop a darker color due to oxidation. Exposure to moisture or grease can reinforce the oxidation and may leave stains and fingerprints. The oxide layer protects the metal and forms a beautiful patina over time but can easily be cleaned off to restore the original brightness and shine. Wash solid brass objects in hot soapy water to clean off grease or wax, and gently rub it with a soft cloth. Use a non-abrasive polish to remove tarnishing and re-shine the surface. Avoid using steel wool or other materials that can scratch the metal.

Made by hand sandcasting, small black spots and grain may occur due to the sand casting, polished by hand. Use with or without flowers

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, except for made-to-order items. Made to order items are final sale, and orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

To initiate a return, email customercase@thatcooliving.com for authorization. A 25% restocking fee and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. Returned items must be in their original condition, unassembled if applicable, and in the original packaging.

For damage claims, report within 2 days of delivery. Include photos of the packaging before opening, pictures of the damage, and a copy of the signed Bill of Lading (BOL) highlighting the damages.
