Peek Bed by Karup Design keeps the look clean while adding practical headboard storage, making it a smart pick if you’re searching for a solid pine bed frame or a minimalist platform bed with a built-in ledge. Offered in Clear Lacquered Pine or a black water-based lacquer, it’s designed so you can wrap cables through the headboard openings and use E27 bulbs (bulbs not included).

Use the wide frame and headboard ledge as a nightly landing zone for glasses, a book stack, and a small alarm clock. The headboard openings help keep cords organized when you add bedside lighting, so the surface stays uncluttered. This layout works well centered on the main wall in a primary bedroom where you want the bed to double as simple display and storage. It also suits a guest room where you want the essentials within reach without adding extra bedside furniture. The bed’s low, straightforward silhouette keeps the room feeling open, especially when paired with slimmer bedside pieces.

Frame material: Pine wood lacquered
Product Care

Wood: The knots in natural wood furniture are individual characteristics and charisma of each piece of furniture. Not two will look the same. You can expect the natural wood surfaces to change over time when permanently exposed to the climate, sunlight, and humidity fluctuations. General wood care: do not place hot objects on the furniture, do not place candles directly on the furniture, immediately wipe off any spilled liquids with a damp cloth, regularly check if the screws and fittings are tight. Fabric: Mixed fabric is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Do only clean with a dry cloth to prevent stains.
