The thoughts behind the design of the Teak range were to create a rustic yet soft appearance combined with the necessary features of resistant outdoor furniture. The teak originates from wooden constructions in Indonesia. It already had one life; now we gave it a 2nd one. Wooden patches show the history and provide individual uniqueness to each piece.

Besides the high content of natural oil in the wood, which makes the range suitable for outdoor use, the furniture is also naturally sanded and treated with a water-based topcoat for protection. Over time, the wood will acquire a beautiful, natural greyish patina. If you want to keep the warm colour of teak, treat the wood with oil.

The wood will over time develop an authentic and natural greyish patina which is the colour we prefer and find very beautiful. If you would like to maintain the warm colour of teak, treating the wood regularly with teak oil is necessary. With time, small cracks and hairlines in the wood may occur due to the natural characteristics of the material.

When needed, it is a good idea to clean your outdoor teak furniture. We recommend using brown soap or soap flakes that are suitable. These types of soaps aid in sealing the pores of the wood, enhancing its resistance. Prepare a mild soap mixture and gently brush your furniture in the direction of the grain. Rinse with water.

Changes in weather conditions, both rain, sun and shift in temperature may cause the wood patches to expand, but they can easily be sanded down. Fading of the patina will temporarily occur.

Screws must be tightened after approximately one week.
