Description

The Eternity Swivel Chair w/ Castors by Mater is a sustainable office chair designed for flexibility and comfort. Its soft-shaped shell is molded from Matek®, a material that mixes post-consumer e waste with coffee or wood waste. The base frame is made from 96% recycled aluminium and sits on castors for smooth movement, making the chair ideal for office environments. Designed by Space Copenhagen, the chair offers a contoured seat and 360-degree swivel. Each Eternity Swivel Chair w/ Castors removes about 4.3 kg of waste from the planet and is engineered for disassembly so components can be recycled. Available in several Matek® blends and optional upholstery, it brings responsible craftsmanship to professional and home workspaces.

Material

Made with a soft-shaped shell of our waste material Matek®. The waste materials used for the Matek® come from post-consumer e-waste mixed with either wood or coffee waste, depending on the color. The base frame is made of 96% recycled, polished aluminum and is mounted with castors for easy flexibility.

Product Care

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the surface with a soft cloth. The surface can be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and harsh detergents, as these may damage the surface.

Avoid placing Matek™ furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can affect the appearance of the material. For tabletops, we always recommend using trivets under hot objects, such as coffee pots and cups, to prevent damage to the surface.
