Description

The Eternity Swivel Chair by Mater is a sustainable office chair with a soft shell made from Matek®, a material combining post-consumer e e‑waste with coffee or wood waste. Designed by Space Copenhagen, the chair is contoured for comfort and allows 360-degree swivel rotation. Its base is crafted from 96% recycled aluminium and can be ordered with or without upholstery and castors. Each Eternity Swivel Chair removes around 4.3 kg of waste from the planet and is designed for disassembly so components can be recycled. Suitable for home offices or commercial spaces, this chair blends industrial character with responsible craftsmanship.

Material

Made of our waste material Matek®. The waste materials used for the Matek® come from post-consumer e-waste mixed with either wood or coffee waste, depending on the colour. The base frame is made of 96% recycled, black-painted aluminum.

Product Care

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the surface with a soft cloth. The surface can be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and harsh detergents, as these may damage the surface.

Avoid placing Matek™ furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can affect the appearance of the material. For tabletops, we always recommend using trivets under hot objects, such as coffee pots and cups, to prevent damage to the surface.
