Rug No.03 marries modern design with classic hand-knotting techniques, crafted from natural wool. Its plush, shaggy wool texture introduces a relaxed, bohemian charm to this distinguished piece. Crafted from natural, unbleached wool, the rug features a soothing palette of soft limestone grey and clay tones. Its design is complemented by a braided, chunky fringe edge, adding a touch of artistic and ethnic flair to its perimeter.

Variations in color and detailing are hallmarks of its handcrafted origin, rendering each rug truly unique. Additionally, due to its partially long pile and shaggy nature, this rug may shed more than its low pile counterparts. Regular vacuuming is recommended to minimize shedding and maintain its elegant appearance.

Cappelen Dimyr is produced by hand in the finest wool with long and strong fibers. Because of its natural structure, the long pile rugs tend to shed initially, and it is therefore recommended to vacuum the rugs daily in the beginning. It is common for rugs to lose individual fibers, and this has been taken in to consideration in all Cappelen Dimyr designs, to make sure that the excess fibers do not affect the quality of the rug. It is recommended flat spout when vacuuming long pile rugs to avoid damaging the yarn. Make sure not to use a heavy beater bar. Shedding tends to decrease within a couple of months.
