Tsuchi Rug

This handwoven floor rug combines a soft wool surface with integrated teak wood elements to create a tactile, grounded plane for living spaces. The Tsuchi Rug by GAN Rugs is a hand loom piece that pairs dense wool with linear teak wood inserts for a subtle topography underfoot. Part of Kengo Kuma’s GOZ family, its composition highlights the contrast between warm timber slats and a finely woven wool field, evoking layered earth and quiet natural relief. The rug is available in at least two standard sizes, including 176 x 240 cm (approximately 69.3 x 94.5 in) and 206 x 300 cm (approximately 81.1 x 118.1 in), suitable for living rooms, dining areas or open-plan spaces.
