Description

The Eternity Armchair by Mater features an organic shell moulded from Matek®, a material that repurposes post-consumer e -waste with coffee or wood waste. A slender steel armrest provides support to the sculptural form while keeping the design light. Available in several Matek blends and upholstery options, the Eternity Armchair integrates easily into private or public interiors. Each chair removes about 4.3 kg of waste from the planet, reflecting Mater’s commitment to circular design.

Material

Made of our waste material Matek®. The waste materials used for the Matek® come from post-consumer e-waste mixed with either wood or coffee waste, depending on the colour. The base frame is made of 96% recycled, black-painted aluminum.
Product Care

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the surface with a soft cloth. The surface can be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and harsh detergents, as these may damage the surface. Avoid placing Matek™ furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can affect the appearance of the material. For tabletops, we always recommend using trivets under hot objects, such as coffee pots and cups, to prevent damage to the surface.
