Description

The Earth Counter Chair by Mater combines sustainable materials with a minimalist silhouette. Designed by architect Eva Harlou, this counter-height stool uses a circular waste-to-value technique to create a seat from recycled plastic packaging waste mixed with coffee shell waste, with variants using wood waste for different tones. The slender steel frame provides strength and a timeless Scandinavian profile. Lightweight and durable, the Earth Counter Chair suits kitchen islands, bars or commercial settings, offering a conscious choice that reduces industrial waste while delivering lasting comfort.

Product Care

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the surface with a soft cloth. The surface can be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and harsh detergents, as these may damage the surface. Avoid placing Matek™ furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can affect the appearance of the material. For tabletops, we always recommend using trivets under hot objects, such as coffee pots and cups, to prevent damage to the surface.
