Details
Handcrafted with pure Ethiopian highland sheep wool, the rugs by Sera boast manual threading, knotting, and weaving, free from chemical use.
Woven rugs are crafted with a blend of 50% wool and 50% cotton, while knotted rugs are made with 80% wool and 20% cotton.
The wool threads retain their natural color, as they are not chemically processed. This means your rug may have slight variations in size and color, which are part of its handmade charm.

Care
Thanks to the natural lanolin in the wool, these rugs are easy to maintain. Simply vacuum, clean them in the snow, or give them a good shake from time to time.
For woven rugs, a water wash is possible, but ensure they dry completely.
For best care of knotted rugs, professional cleaning is recommended.
The colors of your rug will stay vibrant as they are derived from the natural hues of the wool.
