Ikebana Vase

The Ikebana Vase by Hein Studio, designed by Rebecca Hein, merges sculptural presence with floral minimalism. Forged in solid brass via sand-casting and polished by hand, its slender, 30-cm height and narrow 10-cm profile invite single stems or small floral arrangements, while also working as a standalone accent. Available in a warm brass (gold) finish or cooler titanium/nickel tone, this vase embodies the Ikebana tradition of celebrating minimalism and line. Small surface variations inherent in its artisanal creation make each vase distinct. Perfect for curated floral displays or as a sculptural detail on shelves, sideboards, or mantels.

100 % Brass (with nickel finish)

Brass is a living material and will naturally develop a darker color due to oxidation. Exposure to moisture or grease can reinforce the oxidation and may leave stains and fingerprints. The oxide layer protects the metal and forms a beautiful patina over time but can easily be cleaned off to restore the original brightness and shine. Wash solid brass objects in hot soapy water to clean off grease or wax, and gently rub it with a soft cloth. Use a non-abrasive polish to remove tarnishing and re-shine the surface. Avoid using steel wool or other materials that can scratch the metal.
