Description
The Curly Sheepskin Patchwork Rug is made from the natural fleece of Tibetan sheep, each hide hand-selected and tanned one at a time. The skins are sourced as a by-product of the meat and food industry, collected from local farmers and butchers, so nothing goes to waste and no animal is raised for its skin alone.
In the Netherlands, the only remaining sheepskin tannery still practicing this craft has been doing so since 1861, six generations of hands that know how to bring out the softness, curl, and warmth that only a true sheepskin can offer. Their process is environmentally conscious, rooted in a tradition older than the tannery itself, passed quietly from parent to child, and now into your home.
No two hides are the same. Every rug is a single, unrepeatable piece.
Images shown are for illustrative purposes. Because each rug is natural and unique, variations in color, size, and details will occur. No rights can be derived from sample photos.
