Description

This modular pouf pairs an FSC-certified pine frame with a thick recycled mixed-fiber futon mattress for a soft, supportive perch. Use it as extra seating beside a sofa or lounge chair, or pull it up as a relaxed footrest when you want to stretch out.

Senza Stool by Karup Design is a modular pouf that’s designed to extend the Senza sofa series into an L-shape corner, or work as a standalone floor seat. Designed in Denmark and produced in Europe, it’s built around a pine frame with an 11 cm leg height for a subtly lifted look. The seat uses a 25 cm recycled mixed-fibre mattress with a 12 cm foam core, and the cover is a mixed fabric (80% cotton, 20% polyester).

Place it at the end of a sofa to create a chaise-like setup, or use it to square off a corner arrangement with the matching sofa section. It also works well as a low ottoman in front of a lounge chair, especially when you want a soft landing spot instead of a hard tabletop. In a reading nook, it’s a comfortable pull-up seat that keeps the overall silhouette low and calm.

Product Care

Wood: The knots in natural wood furniture are individual characteristics and charisma of each piece of furniture. Not two will look the same. You can expect the natural wood surfaces to change over time when permanently exposed to the climate, sunlight, and humidity fluctuations. General wood care: do not place hot objects on the furniture, do not place candles directly on the furniture, immediately wipe off any spilled liquids with a damp cloth, and regularly check if the screws and fittings are tight. Fabric: Mixed fabric is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Do only clean with a dry cloth to prevent stains.
