Description

The Eternity Sidechair by Mater is part of the Eternity Collection. Its shell is formed from Matek®, a patented material that combines recycled fibre-based waste with post-consumer e-waste and either wood or coffee waste, creating a durable, easy to clean surface. Designed with industrial and sculptural features, the chair is comfortable enough for private or public settings. Each Eternity Sidechair removes about 4.3 kg of waste from the planet, showcasing Mater’s commitment to circular design and responsible materials.

Material

Made of our waste material Matek®. The waste materials used for the Matek® come from post-consumer e-waste mixed with either wood or coffee waste, depending on the colour. The base frame is made of 96% recycled, black-painted aluminum.
Product Care

For daily care, it is recommended to dust the surface with a soft cloth. The surface can be cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaning detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and harsh detergents, as these may damage the surface. Avoid placing Matek™ furniture in direct sunlight, excessive heat, or humidity over longer periods of time, as this can affect the appearance of the material. For tabletops, we always recommend using trivets under hot objects, such as coffee pots and cups, to prevent damage to the surface.
