_____

The Colonnade No.06 Rug by Cappelen Dimyr is a minimalist area rug designed in Copenhagen. This hand-woven wool rug is defined by its light melange beige color and quiet grey-brown stripes, a process that gives each piece a unique character suitable for a Scandinavian or contemporary interior. The long, narrow format works well in transitional spaces. It is a good fit for someone who prefers natural materials and a serene, pared-back aesthetic.

Product Care

Cappelen Dimyr is produced by hand in the finest wool with long and strong fibers. Because of its natural structure, the long pile rugs tend to shed initially, and it is therefore recommended to vacuum the rugs daily in the beginning. It is common for rugs to lose individual fibers, and this has been taken in to consideration in all Cappelen Dimyr designs, to make sure that the excess fibers do not affect the quality of the rug. It is recommended flat spout when vacuuming long pile rugs to avoid damaging the yarn. Make sure not to use a heavy beater bar. Shedding tends to decrease within a couple of months.
