The Folk Sofa Bed by Karup Design pairs subtle elegance with smart functionality. Crafted from FSC® pine, it transitions effortlessly from a sofa (196 × 105 × 90 cm) into a generously comfortable 130 × 190 cm bed via a simple armrest movement. The plush 14 cm mattress, made of recycled mixed fibers and a foam core, offers cozy, sustainable comfort. Supporting up to 350 kg and presented in a wide range of fabrics, from corduroy to linen, the Folk Sofa Bed epitomizes Japandi minimalism, making it ideal for versatile, design-conscious spaces.

Product Care

Wood: The knots in natural wood furniture are individual characteristics and charisma of each piece of furniture. Not two will look the same. You can expect the natural wood surfaces to change over time when permanently exposed to the climate, sunlight, and humidity fluctuations.

General wood care: do not place hot objects on the furniture, do not place candles directly on the furniture, immediately wipe off any spilled liquids with a damp cloth, regularly check if the screws and fittings are tight.

Fabric: Mixed fabric is made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Do only clean with a dry cloth to prevent stains.
