Description

The Kuura Rug by Sera Helsinki is a classic design from the Juuret collection. This Kuura Rug is hand woven in Ethiopia using pure highland sheep wool blended with cotton for durability. The undyed yarn preserves the natural tones of the wool, giving the rug a serene, minimalist look.

Available in three standard sizes, 100 × 200 cm, 200 × 250 cm and 200 × 300 cm, the Kuura Rug can also be custom ordered to fit your space. Each rug is handmade to order, with a lead time of about 2‑3 months, and the natural lanolin in the wool makes it hard‑wearing and easy to care for. Slight variations in colour and size underline its artisanal character. The Kuura Rug brings quiet elegance and warmth to living rooms, bedrooms or hallways.

Material

Made of pure Ethiopian highland sheep wool. Thread, knotting, and weaving are entirely handmade. No chemicals were used.
Woven rugs: weaving is made of wool (50%) and warp is made of cotton (50%).
Product Care

- woven rugs can be washed with water, just make sure that the rug dries entirely
