Description

The Valli Wool Rug by Sera Helsinki is part of Anna Pirkola’s Saaristo collection and is hand-knotted in Ethiopia. A raised grid pattern creates two distinct pile heights, evoking the waves and islands that inspired the design. Natural undyed wool retains its lanolin, making the Valli Wool Rug durable and naturally dirt-repellent.

Available in three colourways—natural white, white with brown, or white with grey—and in standard sizes such as 170×240 cm, each Valli Wool Rug is made to order. Slight variations in colour and size celebrate its handmade origin. With its organic texture and ethical production, this rug brings Finnish design heritage and warm comfort to living rooms or bedrooms.

Material

Made of pure Ethiopian highland sheep wool. Thread, knotting, and weaving are entirely handmade. No chemicals were used.
Knotted rugs: knotting is done of wool (80%), and the warp is made of cotton (20%)
