The Traditional Futon Mattress by Karup Design is a firm, 13-cm-thick futon crafted from dense cotton blended with a touch of polyester, bringing structured support that softens over time. Handmade in Europe, it adapts to the shape of your body while maintaining Japanese-inspired firmness. Available in sizes from 80 to 200 cm and in Natural or Black covers, it’s a natural fit for futon frames, minimal beds, or multifunctional interiors. Care is simple: use a sheet, air regularly, and rotate occasionally to preserve its form and comfort for long-lasting use.

This fabric is made from 100 % cotton.

We recommend using a sheet to cover your futon bed mattress to make it last and stay neat. Uncover it during the day to ventilate it. To restore its original shape and puffiness, roll it and fold it in different directions regularly.

Has there been a stain? Use a damp cloth, preferably colorless, and add a small amount of clear dish soap. Gently dab the affected area. Wipe with a dry cloth or paper towel to absorb excess moisture.
