Bring a touch of the vibrant city of Addis Ababa to your home with the Abeba Rug, designed by Mifuko. Inspired by the Ethiopian capital, whose name translates to "new flower", this rug features a unique pattern reminiscent of the bricks of the city's buildings or the rhythm of its crisscrossing roads. The natural hue of the sheep's wool is beautifully vivid, while the brown color resembles sun-burnt earth, creating a stunning visual addition to your decor.

  • Sera’s carpets are made of pure Ethiopian highland sheep wool. Thread, knotting, and weaving are entirely handmade. No chemicals were used.
  • Woven rugs: weaving is made of wool (50%) and warp is made of cotton (50%).
  • The thread of the carpet is not chemically processed (dyed or bleached) and for this reason, the color of the carpet is natural. The carpet's size might vary by a couple of centimeters. The shades of the colors of the carpet vary slightly. Irregularities are not defects but are unique to handmade products.
  • Other sizes outside of standard sizes are available upon request, please email us at hello@thatcooliving.com

  • The wool is not bleached or colored so the rug has its natural lanolin and that is why it is very easy to keep it clean. When needed, all the rugs can be vacuumed, cleaned in the snow, and tamped.
  • Woven rugs can be washed with water, just make sure that the rug dries entirely.
  • The colors of the carpets will not release, because all the colors are natural colors of wool.
